As a chiropractor, Dr. Bill looks at the structure of your body. The goal is to find imbalances in your spine. The small bones of your spine are called vertebrae. They can become misaligned, which will irritate muscles and nerves, causing you pain. After locating these imbalances, we use a gentle instrument to get the joint moving again.
Though chiropractic will make a change in your body, we aren't the one performing the healing. We're simply facilitating your natural abilities.
Our State-of-the-Art Technique
Dr. Bill is an evidence-based chiropractor. He uses Activator Methods® because it's been highly researched and proven to work. A handheld, noninvasive instrument is used to perform your adjustment. It's appropriate for nearly everyone due to its gentle nature. With this technique, you can experience better spinal alignment and joint motion.
Starting New, Healthier Patterns
When you first become a patient, we'll likely recommend more frequent visits. Your joints will get used to their proper position each time you get adjusted, with the appointments building on each other.
There are three stages of care: relief, healing and wellness. The first stage is about reducing your pain. You can then move into phase two, healing. During this stage, we seek to optimize your function. As you start to feel even healthier, we'll move you into wellness care. We believe in having periodic visits to maintain your well-being. You may see us every 2-8 weeks, depending on what your body's "sweet spot" is, or you may decide to only see us if you have other issues down the road. We work with you to give you choices about your treatment and how far to take it.
